Executive Signature™

How the score works

The Executive Readiness Score summarizes three traits that research has commonly associated with leadership and executive work. Two more areas describe how you tend to work with people.

There are no right answers

People become effective executives in different ways. Your result describes how you see your habits today. A lower level shows where practice may help most. It says nothing final about your ability or potential.

UTL built this assessment for reflection and development. We deliberately do not report a percentile, because comparing your habits to a wide population would say less about you than looking at your own answers does.

What the score means

Your shape

Your result also draws as a five-point shape, one point per area. The dashed rings mark 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100, so you can see where a point sits on the full range as well as its number. The sample below is illustrative and does not show a real result.

The four readiness levels

The readiness score shows how well your everyday habits match the habits that research connects with executive work. You answer each statement from 1 (very inaccurate) to 5 (very accurate). Those answers become a score from 0 to 100, and the readiness habits average into your one readiness score. A score of 50 is the midpoint. The four levels below describe how ready your habits are for executive work today. They come only from your own answers, they are not compared with anyone else, and they are not grades.
